Dawn C. Stratton, O.D.

Dr. Stratton received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from The Ohio State University, and she remains an avid buckeye fan and supporter of OSU football. She went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry from The Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, where she graduated in 1994. While receiving her degree, Dr. Stratton received recognition from the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society for outstanding leadership and service, and was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Fraternity. Dr. Stratton is a member of several professional organizations, including The American Optometric Association, The Kentucky Optometric Association, The National Association of Professional Women, and The Fellowship of Christian Optometrists.

Dr. Stratton has a passion for helping the community and volunteers her time to provide eye exams for multiple Lexington organizations, including the Hope Center and the Center for Children and Families. She is also a supporter of The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Dr. Stratton has two young sons, ages two-years and seven-years old. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and golfing with her husband.

Dr. Stratton has been practicing at this location since 1994, and she purchased the business in 2007. Within the practice, she especially enjoys working with complicated contact lens fittings.

Beth

Opthalmic Technician

Beth was born in Western KY and raised here in Lexington, where she now lives with her husband and three sons. She's active in Scouting for her sons' troops and is an avid supporter of Lafayette's marching band.

Melanie

Optician

Melanie has been working here for 8 years as a licensed optician. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her son play tennis.

Mindy

Receptionist and Opthalmic Technician

Mindy was raised in Wilmore and recently graduated from Transylvania University. She and her new husband enjoy biking and ultimate frisbee.
